We are excited about the first issue of our new newsletter. This is an effort to keep you better informed about the RCMDA ministry. Our mission as a council is “to glorify God and transform lives by nurturing, motivating, educating and equipping students and healthcare professionals” in the Richmond, VA area.
We were delighted to see so many friends at this year’s banquet in January. The message that many of you shared with us at the banquet, is that you desire more fellowship and information about current ethical issues facing Christians in the healthcare profession. We look forward to doing the same for our student ministry. Stay tuned for more to come. On behalf of the RCMDA council, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you.

Student Impact
This semester we have been very busy with the opportunity to serve the students through mentorship and thought-provoking Bible studies as well as practical applications of what it means to be a Christian healthcare professional. We will be completing CMDA’s Grace Prescription series where practitioners from various disciplines have given their perspective on integrating faith and practice. We have had the opportunity to hear from several guest speakers on topics including being a long-term missionary as well as tackling the ethical conundrums practitioners and students are currently facing. We have also supported several international rotations/mission trips.
Thank you for your continued prayers for this ministry as we seek to glorify the Lord in all we do. If you would also like to support our efforts financially, please consider donating here to what the Lord is doing through this ministry.
Grace and Peace in Christ to you,
Drs. Scott Armistead & Krystal Mattox
